Mel Watkins is taking part in a 20 mile walk on 19th May 2012 in aid of Breast Cancer Care.
This event takes place in and around Blenheim Palace and is known as The Pink Ribbon Walk. The charity supports those coping with breast cancer and all those affected by it in lots of different ways. Everyone taking part will be dressed in bright pink, even the men! Thanks to everyone who has already pledged their support. Melvyn Evans is taking part in the Jurassic Classic, a 100 km charity bike ride in aid of Prostate Cancer.
The event is raising money for the Prostate Cancer Charity to help fight the most common cancer in men in the UK. and takes place on July 8th 2012
At 100 kilometres, the Wiggle Jurassic Classic Challenge gives riders the chance to experience a challenging section of stunning Jurassic Coast World Heritage coastline. This circular route starts in Exmouth and takes you through Budleigh Salterton and Otterton, before heading inland at Sidmouth. Next you ride through the villages of Sidford and Sidbury before the long, steady climb up to Gittisham Hill. Then descend into Honiton and the Otter Vale before a few more climbs on route to Woodbury Common, before heading back to the finish in Exmouth.
